This is an exceptional opportunity to work with an Oil&Gas Services company in Minot, North Dakota


Job Description:

Pay Rate: $24/hr or more, depending on experience with Medical, Dental and Vision under a W-2 Contract to Hire

Hours:  21 days on /9 days off rotation, 12 hour shifts in the field


Job Summary:

We are seeking a safety-focused Flowback Operator to manage the controlled recovery of fluids, sand, and gas from newly completed and stimulated wells. Working on location at the wellsite, the Flowback Operator monitors and adjusts flowback equipment, records well data, and ensures operations run safely and efficiently from initial flowback through well handover to production. This is a field-based role in a demanding outdoor environment that requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to zero-incident operations.


Key Responsibilities:

Rig up, operate, monitor, and rig down flowback equipment including chokes, separators, sand traps, flowback manifolds, tanks, and associated piping.

Control and adjust flow rates using adjustable and positive chokes to manage pressures, sand production, and fluid recovery according to the well program.

Continuously monitor and record wellhead and equipment pressures, temperatures, flow rates, fluid and gas volumes, sand cuts, and other well data on daily reports.

Perform routine equipment inspections, functional tests, and preventive maintenance; identify and report equipment issues or abnormal well behavior promptly.

Manage fluid handling, tank levels, and transfer operations; coordinate with vacuum truck and water transfer crews.

Follow the well flowback program and take direction from the company representative and field supervisor while exercising sound judgment on location.

Adhere strictly to all HSE policies, JSAs, permits, and site-specific safety requirements; participate in safety meetings and hazard identification.

Maintain accurate documentation and communicate well status clearly to supervisors, company representatives, and oncoming crew during shift/hitch handovers.


Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.

1+ years of oilfield experience (flowback, production testing, well testing, completions, or workover preferred).
