Job description

Overview

As a Lease Operator you will be responsible for monitoring, optimizing, and maintaining oil and gas production and injection wells on a rotational schedule. You will ensure peak efficiency and reliability of production equipment, support Health, Environment, and Safety processes. The role requires extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, strong technical skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. A successful candidate must have a deep understanding of oil and gas and be capable of troubleshooting various production systems.

Responsibilities
  • Non-scheduled callouts outside normal business hours can beexpected. 
  • Types of wells include flowing, beam pump (with electronic pump-off controller), plunger lift, water injection, and waterdisposal. 
  • Types of facilities include production tank batteries, flowlines, LACT (lease automatic custody transfer) facilities, water injection plants, natural gas compression, cathodicprotectionand metering devices (electronic gas measurement and others). 
  • Job is to be performed by employing safe work practices whileutilizingacceptable environmental procedures to maximize earnings while minimizing costs on assigned oil and gas producingproperties. 
  • Daily monitoring of multiple well sites by vehicle. 
  • Test, calibrate and troubleshoot equipment and mechanicalproblems. 
  • Perform mandatory paperwork required by customer and regulatoryagencies. 
  • General housekeeping and field maintenance. 
Qualifications
  • 2+yrs of Lease Operatoring/Flowback experience required.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Valid US Driver's License with acceptable driving record required.
  • Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test, MVR, agility and fit for duty.
  • Physical Requirements - Must be able to lift 40 lbs., climb ladders and stairs. Walking, bending stopping is required. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment. Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms. 
  • Understanding of environmental and safe work practices.
  • Must be able to meet conditional job offer requirements including background and drug test, fit for duty and agility.
