Job Type: Full-Time
Experience Required: 5+ Years
Job Summary:
ESP Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dozer Operator to join our team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience operating dozers for cut paving, foundation work, and pavement paving. This role requires expertise in grading, excavation, and site preparation to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to exact specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate dozers to perform cut paving, foundation preparation, and pavement paving.
  • Perform rough and finish grading to meet project specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and grade stakes to ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure proper compaction of soil and materials before paving.
  • Work collaboratively with site supervisors, engineers, and other heavy equipment operators.
  • Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
  • Adhere to all OSHA, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and report any necessary repairs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience operating a dozer in cut paving, foundation work, and pavement paving.
  • Proficiency in grading, excavation, and compaction techniques.
  • Ability to read blueprints and grade stakes accurately.
  • Strong understanding of soil types, compaction, and drainage.
  • Must have a valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required).
