Job description

Flowserve is seeking an experienced, strategic West-Midwest Sales Manager to lead commercial execution, channel distribution strategy, and revenue growth across a $50M+ portfolio of industrial valves and automation products. You will lead and mentor a team of Sales Engineers, driving market share through industrial distribution partners, valve automation centers, and key industrial end users.

This role requires a commercially astute sales leader with deep expertise in flow control, strong channel partner management acumen, and the ability to execute regional growth initiatives across conventional power, refining, chemical processing, mining, and aerospace sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, coach, and manage a team of 6 territory Sales Engineers, conducting regular performance reviews, pipeline inspections, and joint commercial calls to achieve regional booking and revenue targets.
  • Channel Distribution Strategy: Formulate and execute regional distribution strategies, establishing annual business plans, sales targets, and inventory commitments with key channel partners and distributor principals.
  • Portfolio Commercial Growth: Drive specification capture and sales for Flowserve's comprehensive valve portfolio, including quarter-turn isolation valves, linear control valves, and actuation/automation systems.

  • Forecasting & Market Reporting: Maintain rigorous opportunity tracking and regional forecasting within CRM, presenting monthly and quarterly performance updates to senior executive sales leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Distribution, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent extensive industry experience will be evaluated in lieu of a degree.

  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% throughout the assigned geographic region.
