Position Overview
ttg Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to drive business growth across an established U.S. territory.
This position is ideal for a technically driven sales professional with experience in valves, flow control, pressure management, or engineered process equipment. The role combines new business development, strategic account management, technical sales, and channel development across industrial markets.
The Regional Sales Manager will work closely with distributors, manufacturer's representatives, EPCs, OEMs, engineering firms, and end users to identify opportunities, understand customer applications, recommend technical solutions, and expand market presence.
  
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue and market share across the assigned territory.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while expanding relationships with existing customers.
  • Develop relationships with distributors, manufacturer's representatives, EPCs, OEMs, engineering firms, and industrial end users.
  • Identify project opportunities and support customers throughout the technical and commercial sales process.
  • Understand customer applications and recommend appropriate valve, pressure management, and flow-control solutions.
  • Partner with engineering and internal technical teams on product selection, applications, quotations, and customer requirements.
  • Conduct customer visits, technical presentations, product discussions, and training.
  • Manage sales pipeline, forecasting, pricing, and commercial negotiations.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive activity to identify opportunities for territory growth.
  • Represent the organization at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Travel regularly throughout the assigned territory to develop new business and maintain key relationships.
  
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of industrial technical sales, territory sales, or business development experience.
  • Experience selling pressure relief valves, safety valves, control valves, flow-control products, instrumentation, rotating equipment, or other engineered process equipment.
  • Experience within Oil & Gas, LNG, Chemical, Petrochemical, Industrial Gas, Power Generation, or related process industries.
  • Demonstrated success developing new accounts and growing an assigned sales territory.
  • Experience selling through or working with distributors, manufacturer's representatives, EPCs, OEMs, and/or end users.
  • Ability to understand technical applications, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Familiarity with valve sizing and selection, P&IDs, process applications, pressure protection, or API/ASME standards is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable managing a territory independently.
  • Willingness to travel based on customer and business needs.
