Job Summary: As a BLOOMS Manager, you'll lead the Store's BLOOMS team to provide superior customer service, while maintaining the department on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

Management:

  • Spends majority of time using independent judgment making employment-related and business decisions, or effectively recommending such decisions, including product- and department-related strategies, hiring, promoting, disciplining, suspending, discharging, rewarding, or otherwise engaging in resolving Partner-related matters
  • Designs floral arrangements; regularly performs Representative and Specialist duties
  • Plans / coordinates / communicates the Corporate merchandising and marketing plan to the Store plan
  • Develops / trains future leaders in the School of Retail Management (SORM)
  • Prepares work schedules, orders product, controls inventory, monitors department budget / payroll

Sales / Analytics:

  • Orders product to maintain inventory; ensures availability of seasonal items
  • Promotes Floral events to maximize sales and profit
  • Exhibits passion for product and customer service; drives customer engagement for department
  • Achieves gross profit budget by preparing projections / forecasts, controlling inventory, managing / reducing costs, and ensuring the accuracy of invoices
