Main responsibilities: 

  • Oversee daily operations of the Floral Department with a focus on customer service, creativity, and department readiness  

  • Create a welcoming, customerfocused environment and assist with product selection, custom orders, events, and consultations  

  • Design, prepare, and merchandise floral arrangements, bouquets, gift items, and seasonal programs  

  • Execute division merchandising plans, seasonal sets, holiday programs, and promotional displays  

  • Maintain full, fresh, visually appealing floral cases, tables, and displays with accurate signage and pricing  

  • Monitor plant and flower health, hydration, freshness, and overall presentation standards  

  • Manage ordering, inventory levels, shrink, markdowns, and waste tracking  

  • Oversee proper receiving, conditioning, rotation, and cooler organization  

  • Build and manage schedules aligned with sales volume and labor targets  

  • Hire, train, coach, and develop floral associates while fostering a positive, collaborative team environment  

  • Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, handling, labeling, and company operational standards 

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

  • Floral design techniques and merchandising standards 

  • Product care, hydration, storage, and freshness requirements 

  • Store systems, ordering platforms, and basic computer tools 

Abilities: 

  • Ability to review sales trends and adjust production accordingly 

  • Ability to train and develop associates at varying skill levels 

  • Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs. and work in cooler environments 

  • Manual dexterity for trimming, arranging, wrapping, and handling floral product 

  • Travel requirements: None 

  • Other requirements: Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and peak floral seasons; reliable attendance; compliance with company policies, safety standards, and the Code of Business Conduct
