They utilize their knowledge of different blooms to put together beautiful combinations that reflect the needs of the client. As a floral designer, your responsibilities and duties include caring for the flowers to ensure they are fresh and vibrant, communicating with clients regarding their budget and desired look, and creatively arranging flowers in a variety of containers. You may also be responsible for ordering flowers and supplies.

Is floral design a good career?

A floral designer creates arrangements using flowers and plants, often working in retail shops, event venues, or independently. How do you become a floral designer?

To become a floral designer, you typically need a high school diploma or equivalent and may pursue formal training through a floral design program or apprenticeship. Job description

Do you want to step into bigger briefs and better work?

The bar we're setting:

We're looking for a midweight designer with strong ideas, sharp craft and the ambition to make good work better.

This is a hands-on role for someone ready to step up. You'll work across brand, campaigns, digital, editorial and social - turning clear thinking into distinctive design.

You'll bring taste, pace and attention to detail. You'll have a point of view, take feedback well and care about the standard of the work.

The right attitude matters. We're looking for someone willing, eager and ready to lean in - a designer who wants to contribute, grow and help raise the bar.

About Teneo Studio

Teneo Studio is the in-house creative team, turning complex B2B challenges into clear, compelling ideas across brand, content, campaigns and engagement. The studio is growing into a high-performing, creatively ambitious powerhouse, known for sharp thinking, strong ideas and work that stands out.

Brands are brought to life with clarity, consistency and creative rigour. Every piece of work is considered, purposeful and built to stand up at the most senior levels, delivering impact across digital, print and campaign touchpoints.

The Role

You'll help shape brand-led work across identity, campaigns, digital, editorial and social. That includes reports and long-form content where structure, layout and typography matter, as well as social assets where pace, clarity and cut-through are key.

You'll work closely with creatives, strategists and account teams to interpret briefs, explore design routes and bring ideas to life across a range of channels.

You won't be expected to lead every project independently, but you should be ready to own defined tasks, manage your time well and present your thinking clearly.

This is a role for a designer with taste, curiosity and momentum - someone who wants to get stuck in, build confidence and make work they're proud of.

Responsibilities

  • Develop creative ideas and design routes in response to B2B briefs.
  • Create design work across brand, campaign, digital, editorial, presentation and social channels.
  • Support the development of visual identities, campaign concepts and brand systems.
  • Design and produce social assets for LinkedIn, Instagram, X and other relevant platforms.
  • Apply editorial thinking to reports, presentations and long-form content.
  • Bring brand guidelines to life with consistency and creativity.
  • Take defined tasks and smaller projects from brief through to delivery.
  • Collaborate with creatives, strategists and account teams.
  • Present ideas clearly and explain design decisions with confidence.
  • Use feedback to refine and strengthen the work.
  • Prepare accurate, production-ready files for print, digital, social and presentation use.
  • Maintain high standards across typography, layout, image choice, motion and detail.
  • Stay curious about design, culture, tools and how AI can support the creative process.
  • Bring energy, openness and a willingness to get involved.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years' experience in a design studio, agency or in-house
    creative team.
  • A portfolio showing strong visual craft, original thinking and confident work across relevant channels.
  • Experience across brand, campaign, digital, social and editorial design.
  • Strong typography, layout, hierarchy and visual systems skills.
  • Good editorial design skills, particularly across reports, presentations and long-form content.
  • Experience creating social assets and adapting ideas across formats.
  • Able to develop ideas, not just execute instructions.
  • Confident working within brand guidelines.
  • Able to explain creative thinking and design choices clearly.
  • Good understanding of how design supports communication, brand and business objectives.
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Strong working knowledge of Figma.
  • Animation or motion skills, including After Effects, are welcome.
  • Organized, reliable and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Collaborative, proactive and keen to keep learning.
  • A positive, willing attitude - someone who wants to lean in, support the team and raise the standard.
