The Floral Customer Service Specialist provides administrative support to Floral Account Managers, ensuring smooth customer service operations and assisting in sales activities. The role involves data analysis, product allocation, and maintaining updated product information. Responsibilities include managing customer orders, processing credit requests, and conducting quality inspections of floral products in warehouse facilities. The candidate will create marketing materials and daily inventory reports, while also engaging in customer interactions, both in person and online, to enhance customer service and sales. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks, work independently, and communicate effectively with both internal teams and external partners. Team Workflow

  • Provides administrative support to Account Managers.

Customer Service Activities and/or Support

  • Analyzing data to inform decision-making processes related to floral product management.
  • Efficiently allocate floral products based on demand and availability.
  • Update and maintain floral product information in relevant databases.
  • Conduct regular inspections of floral products housed in warehouse facilities to ensure quality and freshness.
  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of customer orders for floral products.
  • Handle and process customer credit requests, coordinating and facilitating product pickups as required.
  • Manage customer orders through various communication channels, ensuring clear and professional communication.

Sales Activities and/or Support

  • Create marketing materials for floral products using PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Create daily inventory availability using Excel.

Customer Interactions

  • Handle phone and email order taking for floral products.
  • Attend onsite/online customer meetings as part of professional growth and development.
  • Assist in marketing and showcasing floral products to enhance customer engagement.
Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Wholesale or grocery retail floral industry experience desired but not required.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Customer Service Representative at Charlie's Produce or other relevant experience.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient use of computer systems for daily tasks, including order processing.
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Basic understanding of Tableau for data visualization and decision-making.
  • Fast and accurate typing skills for data entry and communication.
  • Proficient use of office phone systems for professional communication.
  • Effective use of internet resources for research and communication purposes.
