Quality Control Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Manager to oversee all aspects of quality assurance functions, systems, implementation, and training. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with industry standards, develop and maintain quality documentation and standards, and exceed customer quality and specification requirements. The Quality Control Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze data, and champion continuous improvement initiatives.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Quality Control Manager: $70K-$75K
Pay commensurate with experience.
Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
Quality Control Manager Responsibilities Include:
  • Develops, improves, reviews, and assesses processes and procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Establish Quality standards within the program by studying requirements and transferring to business areas.
  • Collect, compile, and analyze relevant quality statistical data to obtain information regarding quality performance
  • Develops and maintains quality assurance manual and procedures.
  • Responsible to facilitate quality resources to achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Prepares product and process quality reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Support all programs and initiatives related to Safety, Hygiene, Environmental and Quality.
  • Interfaces with operational and cross-functional areas to ensure consistency in reporting practices and to help determine quality needs and training.
  • Prepare and present reports to update upper management on quality activities.
  • Research applicable Government Agency policies and ensures compliance.
  • Analyzes organizational and operational problems to develop timely and economical solutions.
  • Develops, implements, and tracks action plans.
  • Provides detailed updates to leadership, strategic partners, and stakeholders by participating in meetings and coordinating, consolidating, developing and delivering/presenting associated meeting materials (e.g., slides, reports, assessments).
  • Keeps accurate documentation of all activities, assessments, reports, findings, etc.
  • Champion continuous improvement across the organization using lean and six sigma philosophies
  • Facilitate training curriculum for all Lean Tools, (5S, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis) and monitor effectiveness.
  • Train and apply problem solving tools to all levels of the organization.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Quality Control Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, or a combination of appropriate experience and education
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Quality function
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of Lean, TQM, Six Sigma, and/or total quality systems preferred
  • Military experience preferred
  • Knowledge of statistics, statistical process control, root cause analysis, and other quality improvement tools and techniques
  • Lean Manufacturing certification preferred
  • Six Sigma belt Certification (Black/White/Green), preferred
  • Ability to conduct on-site audits, inspections, and activities to validate quality system compliance
  • Working knowledge of inventory quality control requirements and industry standards
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work independently and meet critical timelines
  • Comfortable interacting with senior-level personnel
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to pass drug screening and federal background check
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
