About the Role

Legacy Group has grown through a focused and dedicated support of our clientele. We have an excellent opportunity for an entry level Flooring Installer with 1+ years of commercial flooring installation experience. Our team members must be knowledgeable, caring, and help provide a first-class customer service experience every time.


Requirements

What You'll Do

Key or Essential Functions

Be onsite and on time for all scheduled shifts

Able to communicate clearly

Unload and load Legacy fleet vehicles

Drive fleet vehicles ranging from moving vans to box trucks

Install commercial flooring including carpet tile, LVT, and base

Aptitude & willingness to learn how to install more technical products

Unboxing and inspecting product

Staging (placing) flooring materials near their installation location

Removing boxes and packing materials from the site

Read instructions and blueprints

Have strong customer service skills

Be a part of the installation crew and take direction from Leads and Project Managers

Install flooring to meet industry quality standards

Work safely and follow safety protocols and programs

Maintain a positive attitude

Record all hours, jobs, breaks, lunches, in Paylocity Web Time app for hours reporting

Ensure accurate and timely installation of products in compliance with manufacturers' specifications and to the customer's satisfaction resulting in quality workmanship.


Required Abilities

Valid Driver's license with clean record

Able to work well on installation teams

Available to work all shifts. (Typical shifts Monday-Friday)

Have a strong work ethic

Cheerful outlook and willingness to learn

Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening test

Compensation:

$23.00 - $27.00 per hour depending on years of experience and industry knowledge


Base pay is based on several factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and may vary depending on job-related knowledge.
