JOB TITLE: Bilingual Flooring Installation Manager
REPORTS TO: General Manager
LOCATION: 5571 E North Belt Rd Las Vegas, NV 89115
JOB TYPE: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 6:00am-3:00pm

JOB OVERVIEW
The Installation Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the assignment process for subcontractor work orders, ensuring quality assurance, and managing project coordination. Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential for effective communication. This role requires on-site presence, as directed by the General Manager, to oversee the flooring inspection (QA) process.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assess flooring issues and determine appropriate labor charges while ensuring quality standards.
  • Create and implement a comprehensive recruitment strategy to expand the pool of skilled local, subcontracted flooring installers.
  • Effectively assign work orders to subcontracted flooring installers, ensuring seamless project coordination and timely completion.
  • Maintain organized documentation by ensuring daily submission of required paperwork by subcontractors and reviewing payroll sheets for accuracy, performing corresponding data entry.
  • Uphold warranty compliance by completing daily warranties and facilitating open communication with subcontractors to resolve work order and on-site customer issues.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments to ensure smooth operations and streamline processes.
  • Provide hands-on supervision to the installation department employees, guiding and supporting their performance and development.
  • Resolve any issues arising from the previous day's work orders through proactive discussions with subcontractors, operations, and sales staff.
  • Skillfully negotiate subcontractor labor rates as needed, maintaining cost-effectiveness for the company.
  • In partnership with HR, take timely and appropriate steps to address performance reviews, disciplinary issues, onboarding, and other HR-related matters.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required for effective communication in this role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in recruiting subcontractors and efficiently assigning work is preferred.
  • Prior experience or knowledge in flooring products or flooring installation is highly valued, but not a strict requirement.
  • Proficiency in using computer-based business tools, including Google Drive, Gmail, Microsoft Office Word and Excel, is essential.
