Swing Shift: 11:00pm-7:30am
Pay rate: $20-$23/hr.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Floor QA
  • Create inspection record template; pull samples, quality alerts, and all required documents for future jobs per production schedule in accordance with QMS procedures.
  • Provide quality support during job start-ups and perform 1st piece inspection and approval in a timely manner.
  • Perform in-process sample inspections per inspection plans and record on inspection record.
  • Manage all part samples related to jobs running on the production floor; including pulling, creating, and returning to storage.
  • Document non-conforming products during inspection by opening NCRโ€™s per QMS procedures.
  • Provide support to production machine operators and production team members related to product quality questions.
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of all QA floor documentation at all points during production.
  • Provide support for customer specified SPC as required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Final Audit
  • Perform AQL sample final inspections per inspection plan and in accordance with QMS procedure.
  • Perform AQL sample receiving inspections for all items used in the manufacturing of products in accordance with QMS procedure.
  • Ensure all incoming items used in manufacturing of products have certifications and those certifications are properly scanned and associated correctly for retrieval when required.
  • Create and accurately supply all certification of compliance documents as per customer requirements, including all appropriate material certifications or inspection data as required.
  • Ensure that all required final and receiving inspection records are complete and accurate in accordance with QMS procedures.
  • Backup and assist with floor inspections when workload permits or floor inspection team members are absent.
  • Backup and assist with secondary final inspections when workload permits or team members are absent.
  • Document non-conforming products during inspection by opening NCRโ€™s per QMS procedures.

  • Experience with engineering part drawings related to part geometry, dimensions amp; tolerances, drawing views, and interpretation of requirements.
  • Proficient use of hand-held measuring instruments. Experience with micrometers, height gauges, calipers, indicators, and optical comparator.
  • Knowledge and interpretation skills regarding the principles of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance.
  • Working knowledge of inspecting techniques and testing procedures.
