Job description

Overview

The Bath Authority - Installation Technician

The Installer will be responsible for site prep work, simple carpentry work, as well as the installation of all TBA product lines. 

Responsibilities

1. As a representative of the company the Installer is responsible for the behavior and performance of the crew, and will be evaluated on customer feedback include online reviews.2. Review work jacket with supervisor3. Review and confirm accuracy of breakout in accordance with customer contract4. Perform site prep which includes any work needed to modify the existing structure.5. Carpentry work can include deck modifications, dormer installation, overhang cutoffs, wood knee wall builds, wall alterations, floor and ridge plates, and finish carpentry work.6. Simple and complex decks7. Demolition

8. Layout and cut all materials to install the job9. Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work site10. Install All View, ComfortView, and Solarium products11. Ability to complete basic carpentry duties such as dormer attachment, fascia removal, standard fascia attachment, etc. Able to build simple decks as well as demolition of old rooms.12. Performs service work13. Collect necessary stage payments from customer when applicable14. May be responsible for set up, take down, and repair of displays used for various outside marketing events

15. Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications

The Installer must complete the Apprentice Development Program and have a minimum of 3-6 months of in the field training prior to promotion.

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS:1. Post Installation customer service survey, top score 90% or better2. Online reviews, 10% of jobs installed3. Responsible for crew efficiency in accordance with GDI guidelines
