Water Mitigation Technician | $27-$30/hr | In-Person
 

Help People Recover When It Matters Most.

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Water Mitigation Technician to join our emergency restoration team. You will be on the front lines of disaster recovery — responding to water damage, floods, fire, and mold jobs to protect properties and get families and businesses back to normal.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role for someone who takes pride in hard work, doing the job right, and delivering excellent customer service. No two days are the same, and you'll have real opportunities to grow your skills in water mitigation, mold remediation, fire restoration.

What You'll Do:

  • Respond quickly to emergency water, flood, fire, and mold calls, including after-hours on-call rotations
  • Inspect and assess property damage to determine the best mitigation plan
  • Perform water extraction, structural drying, cleaning, sanitizing, and debris removal using professional-grade equipment
  • Assist with light construction and demolition tasks to prepare properties for full restoration.
  • Follow all safety protocols including proper use of PPE and respiratory protection
  • Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and company vehicles safely
  • Document job progress, moisture readings, and work performed accurately for Xactimate
  • Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients throughout the restoration process.
  • Provide clear, compassionate, and professional communication to guide clients through the stress and uncertainty of unexpected property damage and the restoration process.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in water damage restoration, construction, or a related trade is strongly preferred - but we will train the right motivated candidate
  • Knowledge of water mitigation, drying techniques, flood restoration, fi rerestoration, and mold remediation is a plus
  • Strong commitment to safety, including experience with PPE, respirator use, and handling hazardous materials
  • Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and restoration equipment
  • Customer-focused with strong communication and a positive, can-do attitude
  • Able to work on-call for emergency response and work flexible hours when needed
  • Physically able to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and work on your feet
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required
  • Xactimate or other estimating software experience is a plus; certification in WRT, ASD, mold, or asbestos is a major plus

Pay & Benefits:

  • Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on experience and certifi cations
  • Benefits: Profit sharing and retirement plan.
  • Location: In person - must be able to travel to local job sites
