Job description

We are a highly rated and reviewed flood restoration company in north county San Diego that is currently searching for a LEAD RESTORATION TECHNICIAN for our clients with water and flood damage. The LEAD RESTORATION TECHNICIAN will work directly with customers while leading a team of technicians to solve their flood and/or mold problems.

Our family-owned company offers 24-hour emergency services, 365-days-a-year, to all of North County San Diego. As the Lead of your team, it will be your responsibility to assess damages, recover salvageable items, participate in the removal of water/sewage/debris and help begin the repair process. You will also be responsible for signing up customers with contracts (using your knowledge of water damage, its effects and structure drying techniques) and assisting those customers with their insurance claims.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Fluent in English.
  • 2 years of restoration/flood technician experience, minimum.
  • Professional demeanor.
  • Comfortable working directly with customers.
  • WRT (Water Damage Restoration Technician) Certification is a bonus.

DUTIES:
  • Set up, test, monitor and maintain equipment.
  • Take moisture readings and complete dry logs.
  • Sketch and determine the scope of a job.
  • Direct a team of junior technicians using motivating communication skills.
  • Work with water extraction and drying equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Demolition of drywall, cabinetry and flooring materials.
  • Assist construction crew with debris removal and delivery of materials.
  • Contract and advise customers using your expertise of water and/or mold damage in homes, offices and crawl spaces.

PAY AND BENEFITS: $21 - $24 per hour (DOE) including Health/Dental/Vision benefits and Paid Time Off after six months of employment. Bonuses also offered for after-hours/weekend calls to customers.
