To thrive as a Floating Property Manager, you need a solid understanding of property management, leasing practices, and local housing regulations, typically supported by experience or a relevant certification. Familiarity with property management software (such as Yardi or AppFolio) and maintenance tracking systems is often required. Strong organizational skills, adaptability, and effective communication enable you to manage multiple properties and interact with diverse tenants and staff.
