Details- Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool position in a 320-bed Magnet-designated, Level I Trauma academic teaching hospital
- Float coverage spans PICU, CVPICU, and NICU units
- Patient ratios are 1:1 or 1:2 in PICU/CVPICU; may be 1:3 when floating to NICU
- Shifts available: nights (4x12, 19:00–07:30) or days (4x12, 07:00–19:30)
- Every other weekend (EOW) required; block scheduling for weekends may be accommodated
- No on-call requirements
- Charting is performed in Cerner
- Active DC RN license required
- Current BLS and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent PICU or CVPICU experience required
- Strong comfort level floating between PICU, CVPICU, and NICU within scope of practice
- Pending DC RN license accepted
- Provide critical care nursing to pediatric patients across PICU, CVPICU, and NICU settings
- Scrubs must be child-friendly with no logos; any color is acceptable
