Registered Nurse - Float Pool - contingent - day shift
Shift: days with weekend & holiday schedule
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. Contingent Option II: Clinical Resources Department contingents that report directly to a House Manager, Clinical Resources Department. Meets all accountabilities of a Registered Nurse.
UNIT OVERVIEW:
Float Pool - RN's will maintain a current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. They are assigned at the beginning of each shift to the unit if most need. They are assigned according to certified level of care.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
