Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Flight Operations Coordinator / Dispatcher to support daily flight and simulator operations. This role is responsible for dispatching aircraft and simulators, verifying student documentation, coordinating communication between multiple departments, and ensuring safe and efficient operations in a fast-paced flight training environment.


Responsibilities

  • Dispatch and check in aircraft and flight simulators using an online resource management system.
  • Verify student identity and ensure all required documentation is complete before flight operations.
  • Coordinate communication between pilots, maintenance personnel, students, and supervisors.
  • Monitor daily operations and respond promptly to operational issues or incidents.
  • Support safe, efficient, and organized flight operations.
  • Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.
  • Assist with additional administrative and operational tasks as needed.
  • Follow established procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous logistics, dispatch, scheduling, or flight school operations experience is a plus.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to identify problems, prioritize tasks, and implement effective solutions.
  • Comfortable using computers and learning new software systems.
