Job description

Position Summary: Responsible for the strategic direction, management, and operational oversight of the Line Stores and inventory functions that support aircraft maintenance and flight operations.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with aviation operations experience, supply chain expertise, and commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the Line Stores organization.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance to align inventory strategy with operational needs and schedules.
  • Oversee inventory planning, forecasting, replenishment, and cycle-count programs to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Implement best-in-class processes for parts control, issuance, storage, and documentation complaint with applicable aviation regulations and company policies.
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers.
  • Work closely with Maintenance, Flight Operations, Procurement, and Finance to support operational priorities.
  • Ensure all Line Stores operations comply with FAA regulations, applicable airworthiness standards, OEM requirements, and company policies.
  • Serve as the primary Line Stores liaison for FAA inspections, audits, and inquiries, spot checks, and corrective action follow-ups.
  • Maintain audit ready documentation for parts traceability, shelf-life controls, calibration records, hazmat compliance, and environmental storage requirements.
  • Support and promote Safety Management Systems (SMS), while keeping safety as a core value.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7-10 years of progressive experience in aviation operations, inventory management, or supply chain leadership-preferably within private aviation, commercial airlines, or MRO environments.
  • Proven experience managing teams and leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office suite.
