Tasks and Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight of Flight Support operations, ensuring compliance with Part 135 and Part 91 regulations, company policies, and operational control requirements.
- Develop and execute the long-term strategy for Flight Support, including organizational design, technology, process improvement, resource planning, and vendor management.
- Lead, coach, and develop Flight Support leaders and team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- Establish departmental goals, performance standards, and key operational metrics, ensuring alignment with Flight Center and Executive Leadership objectives.
- Manage departmental budgets, resources, and investments to optimize performance, drive efficiency, and control costs.
- Partner with Flight Operations, Maintenance, Safety, Training, and other stakeholders to standardize processes, enhance decision-making, and deliver seamless operational support.
- Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and service level performance, ensuring accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement of third-party providers.
- Drive enterprise risk management initiatives related to flight planning, airport suitability, operational feasibility, and trip support.
- Champion innovation and technology adoption to improve scalability, efficiency, and service delivery.
- Establish and maintain operational governance, policies, standards, and procedures supporting safe and consistent execution.
- Serve as a key member of the Flight Center leadership team, contributing to organizational strategy, workforce planning, and business objectives.
