About the Role

7 Air is seeking a Flight Follower to support and monitor daily flight operations. In this role, you will track aircraft movements, assist with flight planning, and communicate with flight crews to ensure safe, compliant, and on-time operations.

What You’ll Do
  • Prepare pre-flight plans using weather, payload, and NOTAMs
  • File flight releases with Air Traffic Control (ATC)
  • Send final flight releases to flight crews or ground personnel
  • Update and amend flight releases as needed and communicate changes
  • Monitor flights in real time and track aircraft progress
  • Provide critical updates and instructions to support safe operations
  • Coordinate with pilots, dispatch, and operations teams
  • Make decisions regarding delays, cancellations, or re-routing when necessary
  • Maintain proper documentation and records in compliance with FAA regulations
  • Support operational control and communicate updates across departments
  • Assist in emergency response and irregular operations as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned by SOC leadership
What We’re Looking For
  • FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate OR
    Completion of an FAA-approved dispatcher course (or in progress with completion within a short timeframe)
  • Previous experience in Part 121, 135, or 129 flight operations (Flight Follower or Dispatcher preferred)
  • Strong understanding of flight planning and flight following processes
  • Knowledge of DRM & CRM procedures
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions
