Technical Service Representative Position

About Us:

With product installed on over two-thirds of the world’s aircraft, Safe Flight counts among its customers the majority of the world’s aircraft manufacturers, more than 50 airlines, hundreds of operators of corporate jet aircraft and U.S. and International Armed Services.

Job Details:

Work schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:45 p.m. (onsite)

Salary range: $80,000 to 110,000 (pay will be commensurate with experience)

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • The Technical Services Specialist will be the first point of contact for our customers, guiding them through our hardware and software features and capabilities, ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Serve as first point of contact, supporting installation and service guidance to ensure seamless and successful implementation of our technologies.
  • Experience in the aviation industry.
  • Play a crucial role in troubleshooting issues, providing timely solutions, and contributing to the overall success of our customers’ experience.
  • Previous experience in troubleshooting aircraft electrical and avionics systems.
  • Experience using test equipment to analyze electrical circuits.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with software programming languages, a bonus.
  • You must be willing to travel and participate in flight testing of new products if required.
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Applications preferred.
  • Demonstrate effective communication and people skills.
  • Support the Repair Department, Production, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Testing Engineering and Systems Engineering.
  • Train our customers in all Safe Flight products. As part of that responsibility, you will also write applicable Guides/Manuals/Procedures.
  • Safe Flight has one shift; Technical Services will manage all after-hour communications.
  • Associate degree or College degree or Military experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in troubleshooting aircraft electrical and avionics systems.
  • Four years’ experience in electrical and avionics systems troubleshooting and repair (Military, OJT or College) required.
  • Must be eligible to acquire security clearance. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Applications preferred.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Associate degree or College degree or Military experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in troubleshooting aircraft electrical and avionics systems.
  • Four years’ experience in electrical and avionics systems troubleshooting and repair (Military, OJT or College) required.
  • Must be eligible to acquire security clearance. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Applications preferred.
