The Line Inspector is responsible for assisting in the inspection of customer products for contaminants according to established guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepares inspection line/equipment for daily operation per company standards.
  • Unstacks products from pallets and loads them on conveyors.  
  • Monitors x-ray screens to detect foreign material in various products. 
  • Starts and stops the inspection line/equipment to retrieve products  containing foreign material. 
  • Removes and replaces packaged products in designated cases per instructions.
  • Unloads products from conveyors and restacks products on pallets in a stable and organized manner.
  • Seals boxes with adhesive tape or other sealing materials to close boxes securely. 
  • May place labels on boxes based on projects. 
  • Secures items on pallets by suing stretch wrap, shrink wrap, or other similar materials.
  • Cleans and sanitizes workstation, surfaces, and equipment as instructed.
  • Follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) as well as Health and Safety protocols. 
  • Informs the supervisor or other designated staff of any product or process deficiencies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Plant Management.
