Job description

Covetrus is a global animal-health technology and services leader dedicated to empowering veterinary practice partners to drive improved health and financial outcomes. We bring together products, services, and technology into a single platform that connects our customers to the solutions and insights they need to work best. Our passion for the well-being of animals and those who care for them drives us to advance the world of veterinary medicine.

Covetrus is looking for a Product Operations Manager to join the Product Experience team - a small, high-leverage function that serves as the operational backbone of the product organization. This role is accountable for the systems, processes, and insights that help product leaders make better decisions: a customer insights program built on Pendo analytics, an advisory program that brings structured customer signal into planning, and a product operations program that drives planning discipline, prioritization rigor, and OKR accountability across product teams. This is a strategic operations role, not a program management role - the right candidate is equally comfortable designing a governance framework and holding cross-functional teams accountable to it.

Product Analytics Governance

  • Serve as the internal product manager for Pendo - own the governance model, standards, and enablement program across a multi-product portfolio
  • Establish and enforce Pendo tagging conventions, naming standards, and data quality practices; manage user administration, application onboarding, and cross-product metadata alignment
  • Define and manage the intake and governance process for in-app content built in Pendo across all product teams
  • Deliver monthly Pendo usage reports per application and quarterly cross-product analytics benchmarking to PM leads

Customer Insights Program

  • Manage the operational rhythm of the customer advisory program - scheduling, synthesis, documentation, and distribution of insights from advisor relationships
  • Support advisor recruitment and cohort onboarding in partnership with the Director of Product Experience, who owns advisory strategy
  • Deliver a regular cadence of customer insights reporting that translates behavioral and qualitative data into actionable input for product planning

Product Planning & Prioritization

  • Support the rollout of a shared quarterly planning cadence across product teams - coordinate scheduling, track participation, and maintain the operational rhythm once launched
  • Support PM leads in preparing planning materials, tracking decisions, and ensuring outputs are documented and visible to leadership
  • Coordinate adoption of the existing prioritization framework - identify where teams are not using it, surface friction points, and work with PM leads to close gaps

OKR Accountability

  • Own OKR tracking visibility across the product organization - build and maintain reporting, and surface gaps to leadership with data to support commercial prioritization and execution effectiveness assessments
  • Shift from enablement to accountability: establish clear escalation paths for persistent non-compliance and integrate OKR review into the planning cadence

What success looks like in this role

  • Product analytics data is trusted and consistently cited in planning and roadmap conversations
  • Customer advisory program is active and producing insights that reach PM leads on a regular cadence
  • Shared planning cadence is running across all product teams with leadership reporting in place
  • OKR data completeness is measurable, visible, and improving quarter over quarter

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Undergraduate degree required

Experience

  • 5+ years in product operations, product management, or a closely related role in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Experience working with product analytics platforms; Pendo experience a strong plus
  • Track record of driving process or tool adoption across teams without direct authority, and of designing operational systems that scale beyond the individual who built them
  • Strong written communicator - able to translate operational data into clear reporting for senior audiences
  • Highly organized with strong follow-through; comfortable managing multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Skilled at diagnosing root causes before proposing solutions - interviews before prescribing
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to sequence work in environments where leadership direction is high-level

We offer the following benefits for you to take advantage of while you are here provided you meet the eligibility requirements under each governing program:

  • 401k savings & company match

  • Paid time off

  • Paid holidays

  • Maternity leave

  • Parental leave

  • Military leave

  • Health, dental, and vision benefits

  • Health savings accounts

  • Flexible spending accounts

  • Life & disability benefits

  • Identity theft protection

  • Pet insurance

  • Certain positions may include eligibility for a short-term incentive plan

Sales Positions are eligible for a Variable Incentive.

The pay range for this position is as follows:

$94,320-$134,760
