Duties
  • Assist in collecting and analyzing financial data to evaluate loan applications and insurance policies.
  • Conduct risk assessments using financial concepts such as cash flow analysis, credit analysis, and forecasting models.
  • Support underwriting teams by preparing detailed reports on financial health, including financial modeling and quantitative research.
  • Participate in loan processing activities, including documentation review, credit analysis, and fraud prevention measures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with technical accounting standards and banking regulations.
  • Contribute to portfolio management efforts by monitoring risk factors and assisting in the development of risk mitigation strategies.
  • Engage in training sessions on financial software tools used for data collection, financial analysis, and mortgage servicing.
Qualifications
  • Recent graduation with a degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts such as credit analysis, risk analysis, and cash flow forecasting.
  • Excellent math skills with the ability to perform quantitative analysis and financial modeling accurately.
  • Familiarity with financial software applications used in banking or mortgage servicing is a plus.
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in underwriting, loan origination, or portfolio management.
  • Knowledge of fraud prevention techniques and technical accounting principles is advantageous.
  • Effective communication skills for writing clear financial reports and collaborating within team environments.

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
