Scope:

* The Engineering Tech is responsible for supporting Building 1/Zone 1 with a focus on down-time resolution, file adjustments and process improvements as set forth by the Operations/Engineering team. Will be iinvolved with all aspects associated with the planning/process and fabrication of specialty printed circuit boards in the Lamination department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Interface with various departments to maintain, analyze, and improve all processes, production and associated controlled documentation for all product.

* Trouble-shoot machine down-time and help resolve when applicable.

* Root cause analysis of day-to-day issues associated with all product.

* Accountable for quality and movement of all product. Drives process and quality improvements.

* Provide technical and analytical support.

* Support Engineering with milestone tasks needed to complete improvement projects.

* Communicates regularly to supervisors and managers, suggests and composes procedural changes, maintains a clean, safe work environment, and communicates to Supervisors' safety hazards and issues.

* Ability to be successfully cross trained in all areas

* Independently resolves issues/problems with good judgment.

* Support various manufacturing processes to handle volume surges and personnel shortages.

* Perform miscellaneous administrative tasking as directed.

* Generates, accumulates, and handles hazardous wastes generated in daily operations, as directed by the Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager.

* Responsibilities include the reporting of all accidents, near misses and safety concerns. Perform their job duties utilizing the required and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Full participation in safety training and the ability to understand and follow the directions identified in Job Safety Analysis (JSA), PPE Assessments, Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and all Safety Procedures and Alerts.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

* Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.

* Good reading vision, hearing perception, and ability to speak clearly.

* Excellent communication and problem solving skills.

* Well organized with strong project management skills.

* Understanding of manufacturing processes and process control, skilled at Root Cause Analysis.

* Has good communication and interpersonal skills.

* Possesses strong problem solving skills with the ability to develop new solutions, methods and systems in a timely manner.

* Hands on with analytical approach to process and mechanical problems.

* Works up to 9 hours a day, 5 days a week, and is flexible to work overtime when needed.

* Standing/walking up to 8 hours per day, ability to lift 45 lbs.

* Flexible hours to adapt as needed for the completion of various tasking as to not impact production and may require off hours with little notice.

* Flexible and able to cross train to work in any position throughout production depending on the needs of the business on any given day.

Education:

* High school diploma or equivalent.

* Associates Degree or higher preferred

Preferred Experience:

* Engineering background preferred

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition ofForeign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
