Substitute Special Education Van Driver

Barnesville Public Schools is seeking dependable and caring individuals to serve as substitute special education van drivers. This position plays an important role in ensuring that students receiving special education services travel safely and comfortably to and from school and other school-related activities. Schedule: As needed Compensation: Competitive hourly wage Primary Responsibilities Safely transport students according to assigned routes and schedules Assist students with entering and exiting the van when needed Ensure students are safely seated and secured before traveling Follow all traffic laws, district procedures, and student safety requirements Maintain a clean vehicle and promptly report any safety or maintenance concerns Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff Qualifications Valid driver's license Dependable, patient, and committed to student safety Ability to work responsibly and maintain confidentiality Availability to work on short notice Ability to pass a background check Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required This flexible substitute position is a meaningful opportunity to support Barnesville students and make a positive difference in their school day.
