Job ID 23555 – Database Curator Internship

Location: Must live within (60) miles of Clearwater, Florida
Must work onsite (1) day monthly, for trainings, and team meetings

Pay: $18.08 per hour

Type: Contract, (8) months

Start date: Target - August 8, 2026
End date: Around April 2026

Schedule: Between M-F, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST (20 hours)
Flexible depending on class schedules


Job description:

  1. Research and verify nonprofit organizations throughout Florida by reviewing websites, online directories, and other reliable sources to maintain accurate database records.
  2. Update key organizational information including addresses, hours of operation, service locations, contact details, and available programs.
  3. Contact nonprofit organizations by phone to confirm information, validate records, and determine interest in joining the organization's referral network.
  4. Accurately document research findings, phone conversations, and database updates while ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  5. Collaborate with the team to identify outdated or missing information and support the ongoing maintenance and expansion of the statewide nonprofit referral database.

Requirements:

  • Must be currently enrolled in college
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Background check required
  • Drug screening required
