Inspiring Possibilities Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a full-time role that allows for a flexible remote work environment. This position offers a unique opportunity to support our hospice center patients, where compassion and expertise are paramount. This position is remote, providing flexibility for our team members while also ensuring that they remain connected and integrated within our hospice care setting. Our work hours are predominantly Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional evening or weekend hours as needed to address the varying needs of our clientele. This setup promotes a healthy work-life balance while allowing you to remain responsive to your clients’ schedules.

• Engage directly with clients either virtually or through home visits to address symptoms of major mental illness and severe emotional disorders.
• Implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments, collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to enhance patient outcomes.
• Facilitate therapeutic sessions aimed at crisis management and risk assessment, providing interventions that prioritize patient safety and well-being.
• Actively participate in clinical team meetings to share insights, best practices, and strategies, contributing to the collective advancement of patient care.
• Uphold and adhere to the ethical guidelines and standards of practice, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and relevant laws.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records, using electronic health record systems to track progress and inform treatment adjustments.
• Continuously evaluate and refine therapeutic techniques to foster patient choice and empowerment in their recovery journey.

The clients you will serve are primarily individuals at the end of life, experiencing substantial emotional distress and existential concerns. Your ability to provide compassionate support and clinical expertise will play a critical role in improving their quality of life and facilitating their emotional and psychological adjustment during this challenging time.

• Must hold a valid LCSW license in the state of California.
• Strong knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, treatment processes, and intervention strategies for individuals with varying mental health issues.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, showcasing strong organizational and planning skills.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, particularly focused on hospice or end-of-life care is highly preferred.
• Experience utilizing electronic health record systems for maintenance of patient files and treatment plans.
• Previous involvement in community-focused healthcare initiatives is a plus.

• Base salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 90,000 yearly, commensurate with experience.
