Job description

Registered Nurse (RN) Field Case Manager – Workers' Compensation Make a Meaningful Impact Outside the Hospital Walls

Are you an independent, clinically strong Registered Nurse looking to trade the hospital corridors for the autonomy of a field-based role? We are seeking a dedicated professional to coordinate medical care and serve as a vital clinical advocate for injured workers, helping them safely navigate their recovery and return to work.

If you thrive on clinical decision-making, autonomy, and seeing your patients' progress firsthand, this is your opportunity to influence health outcomes where it matters most.

What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)
  • Patient Advocacy:  Serve as the primary liaison between injured workers, medical providers, and employers to ensure seamless care coordination.

  • Clinical Assessment:  Independently evaluate injured workers and develop tailored, effective treatment plans.

  • On-the-Ground Support:  Attend physician appointments with patients to facilitate clear communication and adherence to care plans.

  • Regulatory Navigation:  Stay current on workers' compensation regulations and industry best practices.

Position Requirements
  • Licensure: Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.

  • Language: Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required to effectively support our diverse patient population.

  • Experience:  Prior case management experience required (Workers' Compensation or Occupational Health is highly preferred; experience in hospital or rehabilitation settings is a plus).

  • Skills: Strong clinical assessment capabilities and the self-motivation needed to manage a field-based caseload independently.

  • Travel:  Comfort with regional field travel. This role covers a local territory within approximately 2 hours of your home (full mileage reimbursement provided based on current IRS rates).

What This Role Offers You
  • High Autonomy: Enjoy flexible, field-based scheduling and independence in your clinical decision-making.

  • Comprehensive Travel Support:  Full mileage reimbursement for all professional travel to medical appointments and stakeholder meetings.

  • Purpose-Driven Culture: Work within a collaborative environment that deeply values your expertise in helping individuals heal and reclaim their lives.
