Description

The Senior Pricing & Profitability Analyst for personal loans is a key member of the Credit Risk & Pricing team, responsible for developing pricing and profitability strategies across the unsecured consumer lending portfolio. The role designs and maintains pricing models, delivers profitability analyses, develops pricing recommendations for business partners and Pricing Committee approval, and builds automated dashboards to monitor performance and profitability trends. The analyst leverages market, competitive, portfolio, and credit risk insights to optimize pricing decisions and serves as the primary pricing data liaison for enterprise initiatives, supporting data modernization, advanced analytics, and scalable pricing capabilities. It is also important to understand and communicate credit trends, portfolio performance, and key risk and profitability metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute pricing strategies for consumer lending portfolios, delivering pricing recommendations, profitability analyses, and governance oversight to support business growth and risk objectives.
  • Own pricing and profitability modeling, including performance reporting, forecasting, back-testing, model validation, and documentation of key assumptions and methodologies.
  • Deliver advanced analytics and strategic insights by analyzing customer behavior, price elasticity, application funnel performance, portfolio trends, credit performance, and opportunities to optimize pricing and profitability outcomes.
  • Utilize internal, bureau, and market data to identify trends, monitor portfolio performance, and provide insights that support pricing and risk-based decision making.
  • Build and automate reporting solutions using Tableau, Excel, SAS, SQL, or Python, creating scalable dashboards and data pipelines to monitor pricing, profitability, and portfolio performance.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to manage multiple pricing initiatives, enhance reporting infrastructure, and drive continuous process improvements.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations and recommendations, translating complex data into actionable insights that support financial decision-making, profitability optimization, and long-term business strategy.

Required Skills/Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in an analytically driven role: Pricing, Credit Risk, Consulting, Analytics, Finance (unsecured lending experience is a plus).
  • Experience with SQL, SAS, or other programming/scripting languages preferred.
  • Experience with data analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau.
  • Experience in financial modeling is preferred.
  • Understanding of consumer credit risk concepts, portfolio performance metrics, and risk-adjusted profitability analysis.
  • Ability to drive actionable outcomes from analytical insight and effectively communicate findings and recommendations to business leadership.
  • Exceptional problem-solving acumen with ability to think strategically.
  • Ability to be a self-starter with a thirst for knowledge.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize competing assignments and thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance, Economics, Analytics, or related discipline is required.
  • Master's degree preferred.

  • Work Schedule:  8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday

Pay Transparency 

The salary range for this position is $110,000- $144,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the budget, work location, and relevant skills and experience.
