Pediatric Office RN or LPN Opportunity

Columbus Pediatrics, established in 1974, has been honored to meet the newborn, pediatric, and adolescent healthcare needs of families for over 40 years. This pediatric office with seven physicians, 24 exam rooms, and an average of 130 patients per day ranging from 2 days old to 19 years old is seeking an RN or LPN.

The RN or LPN demonstrates knowledge of the procedures performed and anticipates future needs of the physician. Demonstrates dependability; responds to demanding circumstances requiring good judgment and decision-making processes. The RN or LPN demonstrates knowledge and the use of good nursing judgment in the triage of patients. The RN or LPN provides prompt assessment of patient problems and appropriate intervention within established legal parameters toward stabilization. The RN or LPN monitors patient status effectively and efficiently to ascertain needs and observe changes in condition.

The starting base hourly rate for this position is between $21.13 and $28.85. A LPN starts out at $21.13 while a RN starts out at $28.85. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.

This full-time position will require you to work 7:45am-5:00pm, 34 hours a week, 4-week days each week and one Saturday a month.

Licensed Practical Nurse Position Requirements:
  • Certificate from college or technical school upon completion of practical nurse program required.
  • Indiana Licensed Practical Nurse License or Multi-State Licensed Practical Nurse License through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
Physician Practice RN Position Requirements:
  • Associates of Science in Nursing (ASN) required. Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Current Indiana License Registered Nurse (LRRN) required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
