Job description

Who We Are
GPS Insight offers leading technology for organizations that have drivers and technicians in the field, fleets of vehicles, trailers, and other mobile assets. We provide innovative fleet solutions that include vehicle and asset tracking, in-cab smart cameras, field service software, and compliance management.
We know that when you invest in high-performance technology, you achieve results and maximize your return. We feel the same way about our people at GPS Insight. They are what allow us to build world-class solutions that make us leaders in the fleet and field service management space. They are what enable our customers' success. They are our greatest asset. As a result, we take pride in a workplace committed to those who make us go.
Our commitment to growth enables us to push the telematics and field service operations industries forward. It's rooted in our products, embedded in our culture, and reflected in our team-first values. We're looking for the right people to jump onboard with us. Are you ready to take the ride?
What We Need
GPS Insight is growing, and we are looking for a motivated Installation Coordinator to own the end-to-end customer installation experience for our multi-brand GPS tracking and camera solutions. You'll be the first impression our customers have by managing third-party installation vendors, and internal teams - ensuring every deployment is on time, on budget, and leaving the customer with an excellent installation experience.
This is a high-visibility, cross-functional that works closely with Technical Support, Account Management, Accounting, and Fulfillment. If you are someone who thrives on solving problems, keeping projects moving, and building trust with clients, this role was built for you.
What You'll Do
  • Manage the full installation lifecycle - from intake of service requests through scheduling, installation oversight, reporting verification, and final installation invoicing
  • Evaluate and select the best-fit third-party installation vendor based on customer location and technical requirements
  • Coordinate scheduling and serve as the primary point of contact between customers and vendor technicians during installation appointments
  • Actively monitor a portfolio of 75-100 projects per month, maintaining strict adherence to procedural timelines
  • Identify and escalate hardware, billing, or device configuration discrepancies to the Implementation Management Team or Technical Support as appropriate
  • Maintain detailed, accurate internal records and case documentation throughout every project
  • Deliver fast, precise resolutions to customer escalations with a consistent focus on satisfaction and retention
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by surfacing feedback that drives better systems, workflows, and client outcomes

What We Are Looking For - Qualifications and Skills
  • 1+ year of experience in project-based coordination, implementation, or technical support
  • Working knowledge of 12-24VDC electrical systems with a genuine interest in software and technology
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects under deadline pressure
  • Experience with a CRM platform; proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a bias toward action
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, you make complex things simple and keep everyone aligned
  • A client-first mindset backed by real follow-through

What We Offer
  • Fast paced and rapidly growing environment
  • Chance to deliver mission critical data that drives the operations of our economy
  • Opportunity for professional growth and development
  • Possibility to learn new and cutting-edge technologies, in an environment that encourages new ideas
  • There's more as well! Speak with us to find out all details!

Benefits
  • 401(k) matching
  • Full Health Benefits (Health, Vision, Dental)
  • Employee assistance program
  • Flexible spending account
  • Health savings account
  • Life insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Parental leave
  • Tuition reimbursement
