Job Overview

Location: 100% onsite in Memphis, TN. No remote options.

Resident must be flexible in working during weekends and holidays when customers require.

Must be a US Citizen or have a Green Card.

Resource should be comfortable with HW repair; may provide OSE/FSE support, have experience with server hardware, part replacement. Prior Dell FSE experience a plus.

  • Be able to work while on a ladder
  • Great attention to detail
  • Work in a fastโ€‘paced environment
  • Provide dayโ€‘toโ€‘day data center operational support
  • Escort and coordinate with dispatched field engineers
  • Manage parts shipping, receiving, and inventory
  • Maintain and update environment documentation (serial numbers, elevations, runbooks, etc.)
  • Coordinate with colocation teams for power, cooling, and facility maintenance activities
  • Execute customerโ€‘directed system and version updates
  • Proactively monitor servers and notify customers of issues
  • Open and manage service requests; triage and coordinate break/fix activities with Dell support
  • Perform troubleshooting, log collection, and follow vendorโ€‘recommended resolutions
  • Support firmware upgrades and hardware break/fix activities
  • Handle parts replacement and hardware deployment
  • Perform OS installation, GPU configuration, and any testing
  • Conduct system testing and validation to ensure operational readiness
  • Handle random or urgent issues as they arise, serving as flexible escalation and coordination point
