- Greet customers upon entry to the service drive
- Communicate with customer to determine the nature of mechanical issues
- Obtain accurate customer and vehicle data
- Maintain & manage customer's requests regarding all topics concerning their vehicles & warranties
- Manage the path of each customer's vehicle throughout the promised time period given
- Communicate and update the customer on estimates, approvals & completion of repairs
- Establish each customer's payment method & obtain approval of credit, if necessary
- Complete closure to the customer at the end of the process
- Follow up after customer visit to ensure satisfaction
- Handle telephone inquiries regarding work in process & appointments
- Analyze quality control report to ensure that work is complete as request to reduce comebacks
- Establish & maintain good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat & referral business
- Ensure that work areas & customer waiting areas are kept clean
- All other duties as assigned
- Associate's Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six-months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Ability to read, analyze & interpret technical procedures
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence & procedure manuals
- Effectively present information & respond to questions from managers & customers
- Basic mathematical skills & reasoning ability
- Customer service, computer & organizational skills
- Current, valid driver's license & satisfactory MVR
