Job description

The Office of the DuPage County Auditor is seeking a Senior Staff Auditor to perform assigned professional internal auditing work, guide and review the work of staff auditors and other employees, and provide project leadership when delegated. Duties include:

  1. Assisting the County Auditor and Chief Deputy Auditor with planning and developing audit programs for financial, compliance, and operational audits.
  2. Assisting the County Auditor and Chief Deputy Auditor with developing audit work procedures; training and reviewing the work of staff auditors.
  3. Being a team leader when leadership is requested by the County Auditor and/or Chief Deputy Auditor.

This position is eligible for DuPage County's complete benefit package including medical, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, pension, deferred compensation plan, tuition reimbursement, pre-paid legal and credit union. As a team member at DuPage County, you will also have access to time off with pay on Designated Holidays along with Vacation time, Sick time and Paid Leave.
