This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing our LCSW to manage their schedule while meeting the diverse needs of clients effectively. • Deliver therapeutic services in a compassionate and professional manner, addressing mental health concerns through individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
• Engage with clients to establish rapport and trust, ensuring they feel supported and understood during their treatment journey.
• Conduct thorough assessments to determine client needs, utilizing evidence-based practices and developmentally appropriate screening tools.
• Develop and implement integrated care plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances, coordinating with healthcare providers and community resources to facilitate comprehensive care.
• Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress to ensure effective communication and accountability.
• Participate in team meetings and committees focused on quality improvement to enhance service delivery and address critical health disparities in the community.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed, ensuring a swift and effective response to clients in acute emotional distress.
• Carrying an active caseload, monitor and evaluate clients' treatment goals, offering support and adjustments as necessary to best meet their needs.

The LCSW will work primarily with clients from under-served communities in Norfolk, Virginia, who experience significant mental health challenges. Our clientele often includes individuals with diverse backgrounds, cultures, and personal experiences, emphasizing the need for sensitivity and respect for various traditions and beliefs. The LCSW will be instrumental in connecting these clients with mental health resources and support services, empowering them to achieve better health outcomes and enhancing their overall well-being.

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field; a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) is preferred.
• Current state licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Virginia is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in mental health practice.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess client needs and develop appropriate care plans.
• Comfortable with technology to facilitate remote therapy sessions and maintain electronic health records.

• Experience working with underserved populations and knowledge of cultural competence in healthcare delivery.
• Proficiency with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Experience in crisis intervention and case management within community settings.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 85,000, commensurate with experience.
