PART-TIME POSITION ONLY - This role is not full-time and is not eligible for full-time hours or expansion beyond part-time status. 

Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable, patient-focused Massachusetts-certified Paramedic with Interfacility Transport (IFT) certification to join our team in a structured, part-time-only role. This position is dedicated exclusively to non-emergency, interfacility transports, offering a predictable schedule and consistent workload. The Paramedic will work closely with a Basic EMT partner (driver), providing clinical direction and on-the-job guidance as needed. 

Compensation & Schedule 

  • $50.00 per hour 
  • Part-time only 
  • Flexible days and shift hours 
  • No overnight shifts 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Deliver high-quality patient care during interfacility transports 
  • Perform patient assessments and maintain accurate, timely documentation 
  • Ensure safe transport, including proper use of equipment and patient handling 
  • Provide clear direction, support, and real-time instruction to a Massachusetts-certified EMT (Basic) partner serving as the driver 
  • Foster a collaborative, respectful working environment with EMT partners 
  • Communicate effectively with sending and receiving facilities 
  • Adhere to all Massachusetts OEMS regulations and company protocols 
  • Maintain professionalism and a patient-first approach at all times 

Requirements

Qualifications 

  • Current Massachusetts Paramedic certification 
  • IFT (Interfacility Transport) certification required 
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record 
  • Current BLS and ACLS (PALS preferred) 
  • Strong clinical judgment, leadership, and communication skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor, guide, and work effectively with EMT-B partners 
  • Proven reliability and ability to work within a set part-time schedule
