Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from anywhere while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. You will utilize our integrated telehealth platform, Simple Practice, for virtual appointments. This platform enables efficient communication with clients via secure messaging and video conferencing, streamlining your workflow and minimizing administrative burdens.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to understand the mental health needs of clients.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with clients, incorporating best practices in mental health counseling.
• Provide psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and groups, adapting therapeutic techniques to meet the diverse needs of your clientele.
• Regularly evaluate client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Document all sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with clinic policies and licensing requirements.
• Participate in weekly supervision and case consultation meetings to enhance clinical skills and share insights with colleagues.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Counselor at Medallion Mental Wellness Center, you will work with a varied client population, including teens, adults, and couples. Our clients come to us with a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and more. Your ability to provide empathetic, individualized care will have a significant impact on the lives of those you serve.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Current licensure as a mental health clinician, specifically LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with clients in a virtual environment.
• Strong skills in treatment planning and delivering mental health counseling.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on psychotherapy for teens, adults, and couples.
• Experience working in remote or telehealth settings is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we provide numerous benefits to our employees:
