Work Environment

As a fully remote role, this position allows our licensed therapists to work from their preferred locations while utilizing state-of-the-art telehealth platforms to engage with clients. Standard office hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 4 PM, with some flex time available as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments through virtual sessions, employing solution-focused approaches to develop tailored treatment plans for clients.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), adapting techniques based on individual client needs.
• Accurately maintain confidential clinical records, ensuring adherence to HIPAA standards and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide a cohesive approach to client care.
• Engage in regular case consultations and peer reviews to enhance treatment effectiveness, support team collaboration, and share best practices.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, available treatment options, and community resources, fostering a supportive network around each individual.
• Stay informed with the latest research, advancements, and trends in the mental health field, integrating new knowledge into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary clients served by Piedmont Care Wellness Center encompass a diverse demographic, including individuals coping with anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related issues, and adjustment disorders. As a therapist, you will play a crucial role in guiding clients through their mental health journeys, offering compassionate care tailored to each individual's circumstances.

Qualifications

• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• An active license to practice in Illinois as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Demonstrated proficiency in solution-based psychotherapy interventions and the ability to customize approaches to meet client needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate rapport-building and trust with clients.
• Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills, enabling effective navigation of complex client situations.
• A commitment to teamwork, valuing the diverse contributions of colleagues while fostering a collaborative atmosphere.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a clinical setting, particularly in telehealth or remote therapy contexts, is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of a variety of therapeutic approaches and techniques to address a wide range of mental health conditions.
