Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group psychotherapy for patients dealing with mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' emotional, behavioral, and social functioning to develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique challenges.
• Engage in regular monitoring of patient progress, adjusting treatment plans based on feedback, clinical judgment, and outcomes to ensure optimal care.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, primary care doctors, and other healthcare providers to ensure a cohesive and holistic approach to patient care.
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice, including maintaining confidentiality and ensuring informed consent is obtained from every patient.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and care coordination, ensuring accurate and timely patient information management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on patients from diverse backgrounds who are experiencing various mental health challenges. By providing culturally competent care, you will help patients navigate their unique circumstances, offering them the support they need to overcome obstacles and achieve their mental health goals. Clients may include individuals dealing with significant life changes, trauma recovery, and long-standing mental health issues.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, demonstrating a solid foundation in clinical social work principles.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience providing psychotherapy and mental health services in diverse settings.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong clinical skills for conducting thorough assessments and designing evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patients.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare management software.
• A thorough understanding of various mental health issues, treatment modalities, and the socio-cultural factors affecting patient care.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical and professional standards at all times.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in hospice or palliative care settings, providing support to patients and families facing end-of-life issues.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and technology to effectively engage with clients in a virtual environment.
• Advanced training in specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), enhancing your ability to meet patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits
