Job description

Bring your quantitative data expertise to the LSEG Customer Consulting team! Our Business Consultants develop innovative solutions to solve customer challenges. We support the sales team through our in-depth knowledge of LSEG products, financial data, and customer workflows. As a Business Consultant, you will collaborate with internal teams to address customer requirements and help achieve successful sales.


Responsibilities

  • Lead technical discussions with customers during pre-sales
  • Collect customer-specific technical and data requirements through meetings with customers, partners, and third parties
  • Ensure clear documentation of customer workflow and requirements
  • Craft efficient solutions using available products
  • Communicate detailed technical solutions to the customer
  • Run product demonstrations and give presentations of product capabilities
  • Supervise content coverage checks for data and fields
  • Participate in building proof of concept, request for proposal responses, and the creation of works statements
  • Coordinate with internal partners from Sales and Product teams
  • Work with team members to coordinate, develop, and deliver custom integration projects

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of work experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and quant/data-driven workflows
  • A proven record of supporting the sale of product solutions in sophisticated and exciting environments
  • Knowledge of products, data, and technology across LSEG's Quantitative Data Solutions is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of HTTP, REST, FTP, cloud platforms (Snowflake, AWS, Databricks), and data formats (Parquet, JSON, XML)
  • Solid understanding of SQL
  • Experience with Python is a plus
  • Proficient in conveying information
  • Articulate speaker
  • Strong listening skills

Compensation/Benefits Information:

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $145,200 - $242,000.Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/"bonus plan"). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
