Job description

The Quality Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the quality control and assurance processes within the food packaging sector. Leading a small team of 2 to 5 members, this role ensures compliance with the Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards, driving continuous process improvements and managing supplier quality. The position requires occasional travel and focuses on risk management, audit coordination, and the development of training programs to maintain high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and implement quality control measures for food packaging products
  • Drive continuous process improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency
  • Manage compliance with SQF and other relevant quality management systems
  • Coordinate internal and external audits to ensure regulatory adherence
  • Lead and develop a small quality team (2-5 members)
  • Monitor and manage supplier quality to uphold standards
  • Identify and mitigate quality-related risks
  • Prepare and present quality reports to stakeholders
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance quality awareness
