Location: 744 S Webster Ave, Green Bay, WI 54301
FTE Status: 1.00 FTE (40 hours/week)
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday. Ability to flex evening hours and possible weekends.

Job Description:
Develop and provide educational and prevention programs related to EMS to the public, internal and external stakeholders, Pre-hospital EMS agencies and educational entities in the region. Act as a liaison between EMS agencies and Emplify Health EMS medical directors. Assist in Continuous Quality Improvement and Research for EMS service in the Emplify Health System.
Qualifications:
Education: Associate degree in EMT or Paramedic preferred.
Certification/Registration/Licensure: WI EMT certification or WI paramedic license required.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed EMS provider preferred.
Responsibilities:
  • Promotes positive relationships and serves as a role model for regional health professionals, public, and pre-hospital sector via educational programs.
  • Function as an educator for programs relating to EMS for medical center staff and regional pre-hospital providers.
  • Assists in the development of standards of care and equipment for regional EMS pre-hospital providers.
  • Assess EMS educational background of new pre-hospital employees in determining learning needs.
  • Assists with planning and implementing Quality Improvement programs for pre-hospital personnel.
  • Function as a liaison between agencies, like Medical Director and State of WI DHS EMS.
  • Enhances and maintains own professional growth and development.
  • Provides age-appropriate care/service as applicable to role.
  • Assures reliable, predictable outcomes and no needless waits.
  • Uses Information Systems to their full capability.
  • Duties defined by specific department (if applicable)
  • Attends regular-scheduled and assigned shifts.
