Job description

Position Overview

26 Weeks On/26 Weeks Off Anesthesiologist opportunity with a thriving anesthesia practice at Cape Fear Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
  • Responsible for the medical management of patients rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain during surgery and other procedures
  • Pre‑anesthesia assessment
  • Obtain and/or verify patient consent; discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
  • Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  • Monitor the patient’s physiological condition
  • Perform clinical interventions as needed
Qualifications
  • M.D./D.O. degree from an accredited College of Medicine
  • ECFMG and FLEX certification
  • Completion of an approved residency in anesthesia
  • Currently licensed as a physician

  • New compensation package: $650,000
