We've got the brands, we've got the stars, we've got the power to achieve our mission to entertain the planet - now all we're missing is... YOU! Becoming a part of Paramount means joining a team of passionate people who not only recognize the power of content but also enjoy a touch of fun and uniqueness. Together, we co-create moments that matter - both for our audiences and our employees - and aim to leave a positive mark on culture.

The Senior Manager, Distribution Operations will play a key role within Paramount's U.S. Distribution Operations team, leading business-side execution and day-to-day management across critical functions including CBS Broadcast, streaming operations, cable network signal distribution, VOD, and advertising workflows.

This role requires a strong business-oriented operator who can effectively translate between commercial, operational, and technical teams. The ideal candidate is highly hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable navigating complex distribution environments while partnering cross-functionally to ensure operational excellence, compliance, and continuity across platforms.

The Senior Manager will flex across key areas of Distribution Operations based on business priorities and team needs, with scope tailored to the individual's experience and strengths.

Key Responsibilities

Linear Signal Distribution (FAST, Streaming, Cable, CBS)

  • Lead FAST and streaming distribution workflows by coordinating across internal engineering teams, platform operators, and external partners-driving issue resolution, validating assumptions, and ensuring readiness and compliance with partner requirements
  • Execute and oversee cable network signal distribution workflows, including hands-on management of authorizations, deauthorizations, and transporter coordination
  • Support CBS broadcast distribution operations, including station changes and live event readiness
  • Maintain accuracy of distribution data across platforms and partners, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations
  • Partner with technology teams on distribution-related initiatives (e.g., satellite, IP, CDN transitions)
  • Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and control

VOD

  • Oversee CBS VOD operations end-to-end, including scheduling, metadata, artwork, and partner distribution-ensuring timely delivery, accuracy, and alignment with partner requirements
  • Manage CBS VOD performance and workflows, including issue resolution, availability audits, and cross-functional coordination
  • Provide business oversight of cable network VOD operations, partnering with internal scheduling teams while managing MVPD relationships, escalations, and consolidated reporting

Advertising Operations

  • Partner with Ad Operations and external partners to ensure effective dynamic ad insertion (DAI) across VOD and linear platforms
  • Drive resolution of issues impacting ad delivery and monetization

Contractual & Agreement Reviews

  • Translate distribution-related contractual requirements into operational execution, ensuring compliance across partners
  • Support renewals, launches, and ongoing partner readiness

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Serve as a key escalation point for cross-platform operational issues
  • Provide guidance and oversight to junior team members
  • Partner cross-functionally (Sales, Strategy, Tech, Legal, Finance) to align business requirements with operational execution and drive continuous improvement

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in business operations, content distribution, or related fields
  • Experience across multiple distribution operations areas (e.g., signal distribution, VOD, FAST/streaming, advertising workflows), with the ability to operate from a business and cross-functional perspective

Additional Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to manage complex, cross-platform workflows and partner relationships
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with a hands-on approach to execution
  • Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools (e.g., Claude) to improve operational workflows, automate tasks, and enhance data analysis and decision-making
