Job description

About the Role
The Manager of Visual Merchandising, Design & Technical Application supports the merchandising organization through fixture design, 3D visualization, visual merchandising communications, strategic store initiatives, and store layout documentation.
This position partners cross-functionally with merchandising, marketing, store leadership, and operations to coordinate and execute strategic initiatives. The role also leads post-set evaluations and continuous improvement efforts to enhance quality, efficiency, cost, speed to market, and the in-store customer experience while ensuring brand consistency.
What You'll Do
  • Manage production schedules for playbooks supporting capital projects, remodels, seasonal sets, and store execution.
  • Develop and maintain the Fleet Farm Visual Merchandising Standards Playbook and related merchandising communications.
  • Create professional presentations, proposals, and executive materials using Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint, and planogram software.
  • Produce clear, branded communications by integrating content from multiple stakeholders into a consistent, cohesive format.
  • Partner with store leadership to coordinate project sequencing, workload planning, and execution for large-scale merchandising initiatives.
  • Analyze post-set feedback, store observations, and sales performance to continuously improve playbooks, merchandising standards, and execution.
  • Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, and visual merchandising leadership to support strategic initiatives, drive change, and ensure consistent brand execution.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years relevant work experience in the retail environment, project management experience, and/or technical skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of the relation between product and shelf space.
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
  • Working knowledge of SketchUp, Blue Yonder (formerly JDA) planogram platform, InDesign, preferred
