The Fleet Analyst is a key role of the asset management team with the goal of creating fleet operational excellence under direct supervision of the Fleet Manager.  The position provides detailed quantifiable fleet information extracted from multiple platforms that drive and  support goals and initiatives of the fleet administrative team.  The position will champion internal and external projects through individual and collective data gathering and metrics that delivers value added support to the Mastec Power Delivery Group fleet business model with focus on fleet optimization, data management and executive reporting capabilities.

Salary range: $60k-75k


Responsibilities
  • Interact with supported regional fleet and operations leadership to ensure training, comprehension, and utilization of provided fleet metrics and reporting 
  • Generate fleet specific financial data models requiring complex numerical formulas
  • Subject matter expert in fleet information management systems and enterprise resource planning platforms
  • Excellent data extraction, interpretation, and presentation of quantifiable fleet information
  • Participate in daily meetings with asset management team to review initiatives posture, goals status, and high impact trend analyses 
  • Key player in composite API development, implementation, and integration of current and future fleet platforms
  • Assess and identify continuous improvement opportunities of all fleet data systems and processes
  • High skill level and performance in execution of fleet deliverables and customer service
  • Present bi-weekly fleet financial briefing to fleet leadership and operations
  • Collaborates closely with business analysts, fleet coordinators, accounting, and IT to enhance platform capabilities through system integrations
  • Code end-of-month vendor maintenance spend for executive review
  • Assist fleet leadership in the day-to-day interaction with business units, work groups, and vendors for ad-hoc analyses and projects
  • Integrate platforms and programs of supported regional fleets
  • Explore 3PL benchmarking and strategic partnering opportunities with potential ROIs

Qualifications
  • BA or working towards Business Management, Logistics, and/or Accounting/Finance degree
  • Experience in accounting and data analysis
  • Knowledge of web-based technologies and databases

Specific computer and software skills  

  • ERP- Accounting and Asset Management modules
  • Proficient: MS Office, Word, Excel, Power Point
  • Knowledgeable in Telematics (Geotab)
  • Basic SQL coding
